What does it cost?
Rates are on my Rover profile, and I am happy to quote you directly — it depends on how many animals, how long, and how far. Nothing is hidden and nothing changes after we agree.
Do you look after cats?
Yes, and not as an afterthought. Cats who hide, cats who need a pill twice a day, elderly cats who just want somebody to sit down for ten minutes — all fine.
My dog is old, or on medication. Is that a problem?
No. I came up through a boarding kennel and I work at a veterinary office, so medication schedules, slow walks and mobility help are ordinary to me. Tell me the routine and I will keep it exactly.
Will you stay overnight in my house?
Yes. For a lot of animals it is the least stressful option — they sleep in their own bed, in their own house, on their own schedule, and the house looks lived in while you are gone.
How do I know what happened while I was out?
You hear from me every visit. A short note and a photo, every time. You should never have to wonder.
What if there is an emergency?
I call you first, and I follow whatever instructions you have left. Leave me your vet's name and number when we meet and I will keep it with your file. For poisoning, ASPCA Animal Poison Control is (888) 426‑4435, 24 hours.
Are you insured?
Bookings made through Rover are covered by their protection while the booking is active, which is one reason I keep booking there for now.

Can we meet before I book?
Please do. A short meet-and-greet before the first booking is free, and it is better for the animals than a stranger walking in on day one.

If you look after animals in Craven County — sitting, walking, grooming, training, boarding, rescue, fostering — and you do it properly, we will build you the same thing: a real website on a domain you own, your Google listing set up right, and your name in front of the people already searching for you.
We are not trying to be the biggest. We are trying to make it so that in this town, the people who are genuinely good with animals are the easiest ones to find.
